Set in the basement of 3 listed 18th Century town houses, Yak Yeti Yak is a unique restaurant offering a variety of dining areas, a separate bar and 2 courtyard gardens each with its own character. Visitors will even find a traditional Nepalese style dining room with low level tables and floor cushions.
The restaurants atmosphere is warm and relaxed reflecting the owners' belief that the restaurant is an extension of their own home and customers are guests. Having spent many years travelling around Nepal, the owners have collected a vast mix of artefact's that now adorn the restaurants very walls and ceilings, including bells from the yak caravans, village gadgets and a pair of boots that have been on the summit of Everest.
The restaurant first opened its doors in 2004, set in a basement on Argyle Street and serving a strictly Nepalese menu, the resturant quickly drew attention from locals and foreigners alike establishing Yak Yeti Yak as one of Baths most popular restaurants, recognition from the critics soon followed and the rest is as they say, history.
